204.  Imperative of the Verb - Giving Orders -  Quiz Answers  

1    The Imperative form of the verb is used when we give  an order or command.

2    It is normally used with the  2nd  person form of the verb.

3    In the du form with a regular verb, the Imperative  drops  the 'st'.

4    The ihr  form of the verb simply uses the  verb  of the Present Tense.

5    The  Sie  form turns around  the  Sie  and  verb.

6    With a - ä   irregular verbs,  the Umlaut drops out as well as the  st  with du.

7    Irregulars with e - i  &  e - ie  change,  the   st   drops off the du  form.

8    For Irregular verbs, the  ihr & Sie  forms are the   same   as for Regular verbs.
